Itinerary for Singapore in 2 days

Singapore is situated just about an hour away by flight from Kuala Lumpur. It has become a tourist destination overtime due to the different cultures in the city, the futuristic architecture scenery, the green environment and the celebratory lifestyle.

Singapore comes with a number of exciting attractions and not forgetting the newly opened Jewel Changi Airport, which is one of the most breathtaking airports in Asia and in the world

Trying to do the most in the shortest time possible? Check out my 2 days itinerary in Singapore.

Day one in Singapore

Start at the Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the bay is best visited either the morning hours or at the night hours. It is best to go there very early (around 9 a.m.) if you love taking photos so you can get ahead of the crowds. Be careful to also choose a day when all the attractions are open because I unfortunately went on a day when the Flower dome was closed, so I only saw the Cloud Forest. Check the website for available days.

Explore the local lifestyle

In the afternoon, after trying the local foods, you can go to one of the local streets, e.g. China Street, Little India, Arab Street, or the Colourful Streets. I personally had time to only explore the Peranakan colourful heritage houses. The street is filled with colourful shophouses on both sides with Chinese inspired art decor. It’s a famous instagram hub for influencers!

Visit the Art Science Museum

The Art Science Museum was nothing short of breathtaking! I had initially purchased my ticket on their website. There were a number of attractions and I chose the Future World exhibition and the Alice in Wonderland exhibition.

Hop on the Singapore flyer

Singapore Flyer is best visited at sunrise or sunset. To get the beautiful sunset views while above. It however rained on the day I went, so I had to postpone my time at night. I had purchased my ticket online via Klook. And I chose the Sling ticket so I could get ahead of the line and so I could be able to try the famous Singapore sling drink. I had such a nice time on the ride.

End the day with a night at Clarke Quay

After having dinner at Satay by the bay, I went out to Clarke Quay. The night life in Singapore is one to die for! Be sure to try out the night clubs when you visit Singapore.

Day two in Singapore

A visit to Sentosa

Sentosa is so beautiful and filled with very many attractions and activities. It’s a place for fun in the sun. I really wanted to watch the cinema by the beach but by the time I went, it was no longer showing. I went to the Universal Studios Singapore and had so much fun. I however could not spend so much time in Sentosa as I had a flight later at night!

My time in Singapore was amazing but too short! Singapore is small but full of so many activities. I definitely hope I will get to visit again! Cheers!

More activity recommendations for Singapore!

  • Colourful night shows in the city
  • Explore Sentosa even more! The dolphins show, the aquarium, the night shows in Sentosa etc.

CHECK OUT MY SINGAPORE FASHION STYLE !

Singapore is a tropical country. Therefore, you would need light clothes such as dresses and shorts. It’s also a safe country so choice of dress is not limited in any way ๐Ÿ™‚
